Birds are Dinosaurs

Around 66 million years ago a massive asteroid more than six miles wide was on a collision course with Earth. The resulting impact devasted the global environment, causing an “impact winter” that is thought to have blocked out most sunlight, disrupted food chains, and eventually lead to the extinction of an estimated 75% of all species on Earth.
